-"PASSie – Neurocognitive basis for inclusive education".
-Final Conference 7-10 September 2022, Oslo, #Norway!
The goals of the "PASSie" :
-The Salamanca Statement,(UNESCO; 1994) provides this standard for inclusive education:
-Every child has a fundamental right to education, and must be given the opportunity to achieve and maintain an acceptable level of learning,
-Every child has unique characteristics, interests, abilities and learning needs,
-Education systems should be designed and educational programmes implemented to take into account the wide diversity of these characteristics and needs.
-Those with special educational needs must have access to regular schools which should accommodate them within a childcentred pedagogy capable of meeting these needs,
-The PASS theory and CAS-2 about basic neurocognitive functions helps us meeting this standard, providing a basis for meeting diverse children’s needs in the classroom.
-Host organization: Pedverket Kompetanse (Norway)‼
